Union Ceramic IR Film

All film options use Union Ceramic IR. The shade choices are 70%, 50%, 35%, 20%, 15%, and 5%; these are nominal shade labels, not a guarantee of the light transmission of your glass after installation.

Union lists infrared rejection from 74.3% for Ceramic 70 to 87.6% for Ceramic 05, and 99.99% UV rejection for each of its six CeramicIR shades. Installation Expectations

Precut film still requires careful glass preparation and installation. Heat shaping and detail trimming may be needed depending on the window, pattern, and installation conditions. Check the selected pieces against your vehicle before applying them.

Each coverage label includes an estimated difficulty rating from 1/5 to 5/5. Small fixed panes are rated lower; grouped side-glass work and back-glass installation require more care. These ratings are guidance, not a guarantee of an easy installation.
