Texas Tint Law — Legal Darkness
Under Texas Transportation Code §547.613, front side windows must allow at least 25% VLT (visible light transmission). Rear side and rear windows can be any darkness. Windshield strips are allowed above the AS-1 line. We'll walk you through legal options at booking so you don't get a ticket.
A Note on Mobile Installation Quality
Installing outside a fully controlled indoor environment (dust-free, temperature-controlled) can occasionally introduce minor defects that most people won't notice day-to-day, such as a tiny speck under the film. We take extra precautions to minimize this — using enclosed work setups where possible, controlling for wind and debris, and inspecting every panel before we consider the job complete — and we stand behind the quality of our work.
